The meaning of Alien in dream | Dream interpretation
A part of self we have ignored, rejected or misunderstood; a fear we have avoided. See Foreign.
You will make valuable new friends if you dreamed of being an alien —but if your dream involved dealing or meeting with aliens, important changes are coining your way.
It marks an encounter with a part of you that you find strange or incomprehensible. It may feel hostile or contrary to you. First, you need to figure out what it is, and also, why you reject it. Perhaps, you have been behaving in an unusual way lately.
It is a mistake not to accept this fact. What at first seems terrifying, over the time can become a great help for success. In addition, the alien can be yourself. The cause may be a recent event, such as a new job. Getting used to a new environment often makes us feel like real Martians.
Many people believe that aliens are another product of modernity, so there are no traditional interpretations of this dream.
Occasionally, people will have dreams about UFO’s and aliens. What these dreams symbolize, collectively or individually is difficult to explain and understand. Meeting and talking to aliens may suggests that significant changes are coming into your life and, at the moment, things feel strange and foreign to you.
If you dream that you are the alien, it suggests that you may feel detached from some parts of yourself and from others. You may be a stranger in your immediate surroundings, and some self-evaluation and familiarization is suggested.
To dream of a stranger pleasing you, denotes good health and pleasant surroundings; if he displeases you, look for disappointments.
To dream you are an alien, denotes abiding friendships.
1- There is something unknown and frightening, which needs to be faced. We have never encountered the strangeness of the being which appears in our dream, and we must handle what happens.
2- There is the potential for experiencing oneself or a part of oneself as not belonging. In dreams there is the realisation of being different from others in the wav we live our lives.
/3- Something alien suggests Evil or, as something different, the Occult.
See Foreign, UFO and Shadow.

Dreaming of an alien or aliens means you think someone is invading your personal boundaries.
If you dream that you are an alien, it symbolizes the undiscovered part of yourself. Dreams of this nature also symbolizes your creative ideas and wild imagination. They may also be your way of “escaping” from reality.
To dream that you are being abducted by aliens indicates your fears that your surroundings are going to change, or your fear of losing your home and family. You might feel that your space and/or privacy is being invaded.
If you dream that you are an alien from outer space this will denote that your ideas are starting to get out of hand in regard to occult matters.
It is your minds way to ‘put the brakes on’.
If you dream you have been abducted by aliens this shows your fear of changing your surroundings or your deep seated fear of losing your home and family.
To see aliens of any kind is bringing out your fears and must be correlated with the rest of the dream.
An alien in a dream may indicate that there is difficulty adjusting to new conditions or a new environment. Space aliens may indicate issues about ones boundaries; the dreamer may feel his or her personal life is being invaded.
Adverse to one’s situation
Everyone in your dream is a part of your own consciousness, and an alien is a character aspect that is utterly foreign to you. This may connect to a higher, more spiritual side of you, but it could also be something that is new and different and therefore threatening. Your personal associations with outer space and aliens must feature in the interpretation you make of such a dream. Abduction by aliens might be revealing fears about unfamiliar territory or new environments in which you may be finding yourself.
The more fear you feel in the dream, the more frightened you may be of the changes that are occurring. On the other side of this equation, feeling an affinity toward an alien and actually wanting to make a connection may indicate a desire to break out of a constricting mold of sameness.
(space alien) symbolic of heavenly visitors. Aliens can be either demons or angels depending on the context of the dream
Urges or feelings we find difficult to identify with; feelings of being an outsider in a group or society; can also be something very new and previously not experienced in regard to one’s own potential or mind.
(1) A person of foreign appearance or encountered in a foreign land may represent some part of the psyche which is unfamiliar to you. You will need to get acquainted with that ‘foreign’ part of yourself if you are to realize a happiness or satisfaction that has so far eluded you. The first step, of course, is to identify the ‘alien’: what part of you is it that has been neglected and is now courting your attention?
The foreigner may symbolize the whole of your unconscious psyche, rather than a particular part of it.
(2) Journeying to or in a foreign country may represent an inner journey, an exploration of the unconscious, the not yet discovered or integrated realm of vour being. No matter how advanced you are in self-exploration, if you are still exploring you are still entering foreign territory (but see also Travel).
If the foreign country in the dream is one vou have visited in real life, the significance of its appearance in your dream may lie in what you associate with that country or what feelings you have about it. Of course, the same could apply even if the country was one you had never been to, so long as that country had particular associations for vou.
(3) What is ‘alien’ in the sense of‘unfamiliar often carries emotional overtones of‘alien’ in the sense of ‘enemy5. Getting acquainted with the ‘enemy’, however, will result in making the (potential or actual) enemy a friend. There is no part of vour psyche that will harm vou so long as it is not neglected or repressed.
If you learn to love yourself - the whole of yourself, all vour components - vou will have no internal enemies.
The alien may not be an adversary at all, but a helper. It may be that your alter-ego has something of value to offer vou, if only you will be courteous and hospitable to this hitherto neglected part of voursclf. See also Fear. Journey, Travel.
