Doves participate in the larger meaning of birds, but they also have more particular meanings. These meanings range from peace, to the Holy Spirit, to love (especially if two doves appear in the dream).
As the bringer of calm after the storm, in dreams the dove depicts the soul and the peaceful side of man’s nature.
