fanatic

The meaning of Fanatic in dream | Dream interpretation

A fanatic was initially ‘one who was inspired by god’, zealous in all he did in the service of his god. Only later did this become debased into the more negative meaning of someone who has no sense of respect for physical life. It is, unfortunately, this latter interpretation that surfaces in many of today’s dreams.

DEMOLITION

1- It rather depends on the circumstances in the dream whether demolition highlights major changes in the dreamer’s life, or a self- inflicted trauma.

If we are carrying out the demolition we need to be in control but if someone else is in charge we may feel powerless in the face of change.

2- We may be conscious of a buildup of emotional energy within ourselves which can only be handled by a breakdown of old attitudes and approaches.

3- Fanaticism and anarchy (a need to break down an old order), can be demonstrated by demolition in a dream.... Ten Thousand Dream Dictionary

EIGHT

Eight is always connected with Four—since it is the “double” of Four, and also seems to be a lucky number. Eight is the symbol of Saturn and is always connected with “Karma.” Fight-people are often misunderstood, but tend to be loners widi a tendency to fanaticism. They are often unfairly seen as emotionally cold and unapproachable, because the Eight does not like to show emotions. Eight-people are achievers, industrious, and dynamic, keeping an eye on success in every situation.

The sheer amount of energy they invest in their goals can turn into ruthlessness and combativeness.

In general, behind the number Eight might be elements of death and rebirth, the moving downward of the lower part so that the upper part can move upward. But the Eight may also be a symbol of the highest point of development from which something new can be created—because after reaching the summit, the old can’t develop any furdier.

The number Eight often stands for decay and procreation. See Saturn.

Eight-people have birthdays on the 8th, 17th, and 26th of the month.... Dreamers Dictionary

EVIL

History suffers from no shortage of evil figures. Amongst the most cruel and appalling must be numbered such figures as Genghis Khan, the leader of the pitiless Mongol hordes who swept across Europe from the East. Another is Tomas de Torquemada, whose name is synonymous with the Christian Inquisition’s horror, religious bigotry and cruel fanaticism. Of similar repute is Ivan the Terrible, the grand prince of Moscow and the first to be proclaimed Tsar of Russia. Through cruelty and torture, his reign saw the completion of the construction of a centrally administered Russian state and the creation of an empire that included non-Slav states.

Perhaps unequalled in the annals of human depravity is the name of Adolf Hitler; a symbol of insanity, pure evil and Machiavellian cynicism, if he appears in your dreams, it is worth asking what, or whom, is being tarred with one of the blackest names history can produce.

If you dream of Adolf Eichmann, a man responsible for organizing the shipping of Jews to the extermination camps in Poland in World War II and a powerful symbol of a fanatical obedience to an unjust cause, it may be that you are doing something for someone else that deeply toubles your conscience.

Mao Tse-Tung was responsible for the deaths of millions of his countrymen and his ‘Cultural Revolution’ led to the destruction of much of China’s cultural heritage and the imprisonment of a huge number of Chinese intellectuals, amongst other social chaos.

If he makes an appearance in dreams, it may be a warning against the dangers of personality over substance, and the total disregard for tradition and experience.

The final member of the triumvirate of hugely powerful and hugely evil leaders in the twentieth century is Joseph Stalin, who brought about the deaths of more than 20 million of his own people while holding the Soviet Union in an iron grip for during the middle part of last century. As with Hitler and Mao, Stalin is potent symbol of negativity, repression and cruelty.... The Element Encyclopedia
