The meaning of Grave in dream | Dream interpretation

To see one being dug, the sign of the funeral of a friend or relative; if you dream you are in it yourself, your recovery is doubtful (Gypsy). The first part of this interpretation might readily be construed as a wish dream, the second part as denoting incipient malady.
The limiting depths one digs for oneself. Inability to take action. Creative thought mobilizes energy and helps one dig out again. Self has to propel self back into aliveness; no one else can do it for us. See Death, Coffin.
No matter what the circumstances, this is not a happy dream omen.
A new grave banked with flowers is a forecast of a broken promise; a neglected grave signifies heartache; an open grave predicts sad news from a distance; to fall into a grave is a sign of lost friendship; to dig a grave or to be aware of your own grave is a warning that you are being thwarted by secret enmity.

To unearth someone’s grave in a dream means seeking to pursue his trade.
If it is the grave of a scholar, then it means wanting to acquire his knowledge.
If it is the grave of a rich person in the dream, then it means becoming rich or receiving an inheritance.
