A hill in dreams suggests that extra effort is needed in order to achieve the perception necessary for us to continue to progress spiritually.
Psychological / emotional perspective: To be climbing a hill in the company of others often indicates that we have a common goal, that a journey we possibly thought was ours alone is actually connected with other people. We can use their knowledge and comradeship to enable us to reach where we are the best we can be.
To dream that we are going downhill would indicate we feel that circumstances are pushing us in a certain direction. We may be moving from a level of attainment and now feel that – with relaxation of effort – we are not so much in control of our own abilities.
Material aspects: To be on top of a hill in dreams – and therefore high up – indicates that we have become aware of our own expanded perception. We have made an effort to achieve something and are able to survey the results of what we have done, to assess the effect on our environment and the people around us. We have achieved those things that we previously thought impossible and are able to undertake further tasks in the light of the knowledge we have attained.

A brilliantly lit hill is symbolic of God’s dwelling place, Ps. 43:3.
A hill can also symbolize a place in life where you can build, work, and cultivate good things, Isa. 7:25
Example: 41 am riding through thick fog. I feel I should turn back. But then I see a pale golden white glow and know that if I continue to the top of the hill I will emerge from the fog into a most beautiful place’ (C B). As in this example, a hill gives a clear view of our situation; our achievement; something we have made an effort to attain; expanded awareness. Going uphill: difficulties; hard work or effort; the first half of our life; or life itself if it feels like an uphill struggle. Goin^ downhill: feeling as if circumstances are pushing you; feeling you might lose, or have lost, control; the second half of your life, or old age.
Also hill or hills sometimes represent breasts or the belly.
A hole at the bottom of a hill: especially if surrounded by shrubs, depicts the vagina. Green sunny hillside: feeling whole; a sense of heaven. See mountain; high; descending; last example in flying.

(1) Rounded hills may be sexual symbols, owing to their resemblance to female breasts.
(2) The breasts represented may be those of your mother. Are you still too much under her sway; not yet a person in your own right?
(3) The breasts may be Mother Earth’s - that is, for a female dreamer, the hills may symbolize innate strength and wisdom available in her unconscious.
NB The hills don’t have to be a pair: Earth Mothers are frequently many-breasted.
