The meaning of Riding in dream | Dream interpretation
A dream of good fortune (Raphael). An erotic dream (Freud, Jung). Legends and tradition generally justify Raphael’s interpretation.
It is a sign of general good fortune to dream that you are riding horseback with one of the opposite sex.
Riding in a dream symbolizes the duality between mind and instincts. Therefore, the message that conveys the unconscious will relate to your intellect or, more often, with your sexual activity. So, if you gallop at full speed it means that you should set your senses free. Depending on whether you master the horse or if it bolts, you will know if you are able to keep them under control. (See HORSE)
The dream superstition estimates very good omens for this dream, especially if someone you love is riding with you.
A dream of riding is considered unlucky. Sometimes associated with illness such as seasickness, the result of motion. All dreams of riding, flying, and climbing are rated as a desire for mating, the natural instinct of the sexes, however, they can be translated as motivation dreams that lead to companionship or a union of minds toward one purpose.
